Roof Replacement
We don't do shortcuts on replacements. Tear off the old roof, check the decking for soft spots, install synthetic underlayment, drip edge, starter strip, shingles, ridge vent. The whole system. Your roof is only as good as the layers underneath.

Missing shingles, cracked flashing, a leak over the kitchen. Whatever it is, we fix it. Our Carrizozo repair crew runs 6 days a week. Most repairs take half a day.
Storm Damage Repair
Hail, wind, fallen branches. New Mexico storms do real damage to roofs. We respond within 24 hours, tarp exposed areas to prevent further damage, and start your insurance claim with a detailed inspection report.
New Roof Installation
New construction roof installation following IRC Section R905 and local Carrizozo building code amendments. We calculate ventilation per IRC R806 (1:150 ratio reduced to 1:300 when 50% is within 3ft of ridge. Synthetic underlayment per ASTM D226, ice barrier per ASTM D1970 at eaves in freeze-thaw climate zones. Manufacturer-certified installation locks in the full system warranty.
Metal Roofing
We do metal roof repairs too. Loose panels, failed sealant at transitions, rust spots on older galvanized. Not every metal issue needs a full replacement. Our Carrizozo crew can usually fix it same-day.
Shingle Roofing
Designer shingles like GAF Camelot and Owens Corning Berkshire mimic slate and cedar shake. Higher cost than standard architectural, but the look is incredible. We install all designer profiles in Carrizozo.
Flat Roofing
PVC roofing membrane for Carrizozo restaurants, commercial kitchens, and any rooftop near grease exhaust. PVC resists animal fats and chemical exposure that destroys TPO and EPDM. We install IB Roof Systems and Duro-Last PVC with heat-welded seams and custom-fabricated accessories. Built-up roofing (BUR) with 3-4 plies of fiberglass felt in hot asphalt is still the longest-proven flat roof system with a 30+ year track record in New Mexico.
Commercial Roofing
Flat roofs on commercial buildings are a different animal. We install and repair TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, and built-up systems. Our Carrizozo commercial crew handles retail, warehouse, office, and multi-family buildings.
Gutter Installation
Half-round copper gutters with round downspouts. That's the premium install. We solder joints on-site using 50/50 tin-lead solder. Copper develops a natural patina in New Mexico's climate within 5-7 years. For aluminum, we use Spectra Metals .027 gauge seamless with Raytec hidden hangers rated to hold 25 lbs per linear foot of ice and debris load.
Roof Inspection
Our 27-point roof inspection covers: shingle condition, granule loss, nail pops, lifting tabs, ridge cap integrity, valley flashing, step flashing at walls, drip edge, pipe boot seals, vent function, soffit ventilation, gutter pitch, downspout capacity, fascia condition, decking (from attic if accessible), and visible signs of moisture in the attic. Written report with photos emailed same day.
Emergency Roof Repair
Most emergency roof repairs in Carrizozo are storm-related. High winds rip off ridge caps and shingles. Fallen limbs puncture the decking. We respond fast, tarp the damage, and coordinate the permanent fix. Including insurance paperwork if applicable.
Skylight Installation
A skylight installed wrong will leak. The flashing has to integrate with the shingle courses. Step flashing on the sides, headwall flashing on top, and a sill pan underneath. We use manufacturer flashing kits because they're engineered to work with the skylight frame.
